Is it a lipgloss? Is it a lipstick? No... it's a Lip Maestro. Sorry... that was awful. But it's genuinely how I felt when I tried these. If you remember a while ago I reviewed the Maestro foundation which was definitely interesting but wasn't perfect for me, well now they have brought out the Lip Maestro and I wanted to let you know how I got on with them. 

Anna and I have been talking about and planning our Christmas gift guide videos for a ridiculously long time now. At the top of our priority list was 'purchase Christmas jumpers' and I love mine so much that I've actually been wearing it a lot more than I thought I would. 

I get something in my head and then if I try it and like it, I obsess over it. And at the moment that's berry shades, so I apologise for the berry overload! 

I thought I'd take a quick snap of what was in my makeup bag to show you  what I took with me for my short weekend trip. Now I know this is pretty extreme for a 3 day trip, but packing was a last minute thing so I just grabbed all of my favourites and something appropriate for any situation! 

Another night on the sofa watching Made in Chelsea means another night relaxing and painting my nails. This time I had no idea what I was going to do so I headed upstairs to my nail polish collection, picked up a few polishes, a dotting tool and headed back down to my sofa and my onesie. 

I thought it would be nice to show you some of my favourite plum/berry makeup products, but I didn't actually think I'd own enough products in those shades... think again! When I went through my collection I actually had an alarming amount so I decided to make a video.

Yesterday afternoon was spent baking with my sister in preparation for a little birthday gathering we're having for Rich tonight. I was planning on writing this post but my sister's passion for talking about food puts me to shame so I let her take over... I feel this might be a fortnightly thing on WIHT. 

Now I know this won't be for everyone, this is a luxury brand so naturally the prices are quite high. But I can't stress enough how amazing the products are so if this is within your Christmas budget then it is so worth it! My mum and I are big fans as I said and I've loved every Jo Malone product I've ever bought. 

The Rimmel Wake Me Up Instant Radiance Shimmer Touch (and breathe) is great for those of you who want to try cream blush but you also want to dabble with highlighters and find the whole thing a bit overwhelming. It's a kind of mix of the two and it makes the whole blusher/highlighter thing a whole lot simpler. 

So many of you asked me to share my photos from Paris so here you go. I had a really lovely weekend away with Rich. The train was super easy and it was a relief to not have to go on a plane. 

A few old favourites and a few new tries all mixed together and I kinda like the final look. For my eyes I went bronze, using two pretty shades from the Aerin Holiday Style Palette.

I get so excited to film empties videos, it just feels like a real achievement to finish products when you have as many as I do. Sad I know, but anyway, I hope you enjoy it. I'm just talking through the products I've used up and what I thought of them. This one includes a boyfriend empty and some small samples too! 

It's probably the strangest looking contraption I've ever seen but I do get the point. Usually I dry my brushes by placing them on kitchen towel flat, letting the brush ends hang off the edge so they keep their shape. It's important to not let any water drip into the metal part of the brush otherwise this can loosen the hairs and cause them to fall out.

For me bronzers aren't a summer essential, they're an all year round essential. It's just a part of my makeup routine that I can't miss. I apply it after my foundation, before my blusher and it just warms up my complexion making me feel a bit less ghost like and also gives a bit more structure to my face

Can you sense a trend here? It seems the beauty world has gone crazy for crayon-like lip balms and lipsticks. Just when I thought there couldn't possibly be any more, another one lands on my desk. So today I thought I'd give you a run down of the ones I have in front of me.

Since I started this blog nearly three years ago I've always had questions about my tattoos. Well I finally got round to filming a video about them, so if you're interested in my four tattoos, what they are, where I got them done etc etc... then watch this! 

These kind of skin tints are a natural makeup girl's dream. There seem to be quite a few around so I thought I'd show you the ones I've got in my collection. They are definitely more of a Summer item, but I like to wear them underneath my foundation for a bit of a 'pick me up' glow.
