Just a little tint

Origins Vitazing SPF15 £27 | This Works Perfect Skin Defense SPF 30 £30*
First of all, sorry for the ugly swatches. I really wanted to show you the colour difference between these products and there is just no pretty way of doing it!
These kind of skin tints are a natural makeup girl's dream. There seem to be quite a few around so I thought I'd show you the ones I've got in my collection. They are definitely more of a Summer item, but I like to wear them underneath my foundation for a bit of a 'pick me up' glow.
So let's start with
and
Wild About Beauty Golden Skin Glow
. These are both very similar, especially the packaging in a squeezy tube with a pump on the end. When you pump out the product they both come out as a scary, very dark brown cream. The This Works one is definitely more caramel, golden brown and the Wild About Beauty one is a darker, richer and slightly more orange brown. This Works has a stronger scent, but it's nice and reminds me of Origins products. It blends in really easily (I use my hands) and leaves a subtle glow perfect for those pale days! The Wild About Beauty one feels exactly the same to apply - I have a feeling these are manufactured in the same place? The only difference I can tell is colour and smell and the colour of the This Works one suits me better, personally. Neither include SPF which is a little disappointing for a product you're likely to wear during the Summer, but the Wild About Beauty includes organic Chamomile which is a nice touch and This Works includes Hyaluronic Acid which is great for dehydrated skin.
Now onto the other two which both have similarities. The
is something I've had for quite a while and something I fall in and out of love with regularly. It applies as a white moisturiser and as you blend it in it releases a sheer tint of colour giving you a sun-kissed glow. When I use this I use it as a moisturiser so I have to be careful what I apply on top of it so I don't turn orange. The colour can be too dark for some people but I find it suits me well. The
is a much thinner consistency than the Origins and feels like a regular moisturiser. For me personally, I don't see the point of the tint as it's so light I can't really tell the difference. But this does include a high SPF of 30 and so if you haven't found a tinted moisturiser you like, this may be a good one to try. It doesn't give enough coverage for me so I prefer to use other less expensive products as an everyday moisturiser and then use my usual foundations on top.
I do love a good tint though... What do you think of these?
