What's On My Face #1
I've had to stay clear of any lipsticks and just keep my lips natural with a bit of NUXE Reve de miel lip balm. It seems to be the only thing helping! Seeing as I can't experiment with my lips I decided to go a bit sparkly on the eyes, using the the shade 'Fez' from the NARS 'Pleasure of Paris' palette

Guest Post: Raspberry Meringue Pie
For today's post I managed to convince my oldest sister Carly to take over. She is an amazing cook and has always loved cooking. Her and her husband make the most amazing food! I've tried to convince her to start a food blog, so I'm excited to hear what you guys think of this and I'll be showing her your comments! I hope you enjoy learning how to make her Raspberry Meringue Pie, I really want to try it now!
Hollywood Glam Makeup Tutorial
I tried to recreate the makeup look I wore to my friend's themed birthday party. I hope you enjoy it and please click 'more info' to see the list of products used in the video.
Pretty Portobello
Last weekend I spent my Saturday in Portobello, we browsed the market and then the shops in Westbourne Grove. I really love the area and when the weather is good it's perfect. We stopped at Bluebelle's for some breakfast and I have a post on that coming up soon.
Origins Drink Up vs Dr Jart+ Sleeping Mask
A few weeks ago I was introduced to the Dr Jart+ skincare line. As you probably know, I'm a big fan of their BB Creams, in fact they're probably the best BB creams I've tried so as a skincare junkie, I was excited to see what they had to offer.
Origins: NEW Selfridges Counter
More Origins? Well yeah... I'm their biggest fan. You all know how much I love Origins and they do too, so they invited me down to Selfridges to go behind the scenes of their new counter the day before opening day. Selfridges is like my second home, I'm in their all the time and I always thought it was weird how small the Origins counter was, so I was really interested to take a sneak peak at what the new counter would look like.
Saturday Face
I've heard so many people say that on the weekends they hardly wear any makeup, but for me it's the opposite. I spend most the weekend out the house, seeing people, doing fun things and just generally keeping busy. So I like to look nice and my Saturday mornings are a time for me to experiment with new makeup.
Chanel Vitalumière Aqua Cream Compact
The first time you purchase this, you pay £39 for the whole compact and foundation. But once you run out, you simply repurchase another foundation refill for £29, which I think is a really good idea. Most of the time with high end products like this you are paying for the packaging, so to not have to repurchase the packaging is really good.
Burberry Complete Eye Palette
I've tried the lipsticks, eyeshadows and bronzer/highlighter from Burberry's new makeup line and I'm completely sold and impressed by the whole line - they've done a great job. The packaging is gorgeous and the quality of the products lives up to expectations.
Monthly Favourites: October 2012
Just a round up of my favourite products from October. I've been enjoying getting into the Autumn spirit recently!
Photo Food Diary
For some reason I thought it would be a good idea to do a photo diary for my food post this week. After day 1 I quickly realised this was going to be embarrassing and the post should probably be called 'Welcome to Lily's greedy carb life'. Whilst writing this I'm seriously doubting whether I should put this up or not.
Urban Decay: The Vice Palette
The shadows in the palette are a mix of mattes, shimmers, satins, neutrals and brights so there really is something for everyone. If you haven't used Urban Decay shadows before then this is a great way to introduce yourself to the brand as it really shows off the amazing quality of their shadows.
Mini Mouse/Christmas Nails
If you follow me on Instagram (lilypebbles) then you'll know that I'm quite into nail art. Now I'm not saying I'm actually any good at it, it's just something I enjoy. For the past year I've been using the Model's Own nail art pen which is really good, but it is limited in colours. I thought it was about time I bought some nail dotting tools.
Sunny Autumn Day Essentials
It's rare, but something I really love during Autumn is a sunny day. There's something about a cold, crisp, sunny day that makes me really happy. Amazingly, yesterday was one of those days so I made the most of it and went outside.
GLOSSYBOX Exclusive Edition: Think Pink
GLOSSYBOX has just launched a brand new concept to compliment their existing monthly box and their occasional 'Flash Boxes'. It's called the Exclusive Edition and the idea of it is to delve into a beauty topic/problem even more and offer up the 5 products they recommend to help.
Shopping #6: Primark & LUSH
On Sunday Rich and I went to Westfield, mainly just to get out the house, but of course I ended up doing a bit of shopping too! It's that time of year when all the Christmas bits arrive in stores and I love it. I popped into LUSH, Urban Outfitters and Pull & Bear and then drove back via Primark.
Panda Days
I just couldn't resist this panda hoodie* from Romwe. The body and hood is grey, the sleeves are black and it has ears!! Pandas seem to be everywhere at the moment, I'm not sure why but I'm not complaining. The lipstick was a gift and I absolutely love it. I've wanted a Tom Ford lipstick for ages, especially since trying Ree's Wild Ginger lipstick.
