MAC Nude Eyeliner Dupe
Last week I had the pleasure of having a sneak preview to Rimmel's new Autumn/Winter collection and as they talked us through the new ScandalEyes Waterproof Kohl liners, Anna and I picked up the one in Nude, looked at each other and straight away knew we were thinking the same thing.... MAC dupe!!
New Bathroom Bits
As the title suggests, I've been trying some new bathroom bits recently and I thought I'd report back on how I've got on with them so far.
August Favourites
Burberry Sheer Summer Glow Palette*
What a beautiful highlighting palette this is. It consists of 4 colours, 2 for bronzing and 2 for highlighting, which means its a real multi-pupose product. The quality is amazing and I've really enjoyed using it.
Stila A/W
I was recently introduced to Stila's Autumn 2012 collection. Stila was once very hard to get hold of, but now many of the Boots branches stock it and I think it's great because it's a brand I really like. I was excited to see what products they will be launching and I wasn't disappointed.
Glitter makes the world go round
I thought I'd show you some of my glitter nail polishes today as I've become a bit of a magpie within the last year and I seemed to have collected quite a few! There are more, but here are the best ones.
Lady Gaga Fame
As we all know, Lady Gaga isn't one to do things discreetly or to conform in any way, so there has been a lot of rumours surrounding the release of her first fragrance. I heard that her perfume would be containing some ingredients that are so obscure (and gross) that I can't even mention them on here.
A day at the Olympics
I didn't have time to write a 'proper' post today, so I thought I'd show you some photos I had from the day Rich and I went to the Olympics. I was very happy to be invited by British Airways to experience Park Live, which is the outdoor screen in the Olympic Park.
Topshop Makeup and Louise Gray
For the first time, Topshop makeup has collaborated with a designer and I'm so pleased they went with a British one. The A/W collection is based on Louise Gray's vibrant personality so it's young, bold and fun.
Shu Uemura: Style your own
A couple of weeks ago I went along to the Shu Uemura shop in Covent Garden to have a play with some of their products. We spent the first half of the evening watching a makeup demonstration and the second half... ready for it... building our own palettes!
Most Worn Things: Beauty Edition
Today's post is a tag video that I was tagged to do by Anna. I hope you like it, let me know what you think and for all the product details and to see who I've tagged, click 'more info' on the video.
Kiehl's Aromatic Blends
This is a long overdue post but I've finally got my act together to tell you about this amazing new venture from Kiehl's. Kiehl's is a brand I've always loved, they do great skincare and their stores are a pleasure to shop in. They've never quite taken the plunge and launched a fragrance... until now. In fact they've not only launched one, but four new fragrances.
Did some shopping #3
Just in case you haven't yet seen this on my YouTube channel, here is my latest shopping video. It's mainly fashion stuff as I've really felt the need to change up my wardrobe recently. I desperately needed some new boots as my old Urban Outfitters ones are falling apart so I'm happy I finally bought these Topshop ones.
6 Product Lazy Face
When I know I'm spending the day at home there's really no need to put on a full face of makeup. Some people don't bother at all, but I like to, simply because it makes me feel awake and more human.
Blue Nail Polish
I think it's fair to say that my favourite colour nail polish is blue. I'm not sure why exactly, it's not at all natural and can look quite young, but I just always gravitate towards blue and turquoise.
Here's a collection of some of my favourites, with the majority being from Essie as you know I'm a big fan.
Ojon Rare Blend Oil
When I first saw this hair oil my jaw literally dropped at how beautiful it is. I don't think I've ever seen anything like it and I was so surprised when I realised it wasn't the bottle that was yellow, white and red but the actual product itself.
Spritzing
As you all know, I'm completely in love with my shampoo and conditioner from Ojon so I wanted to try another product from the range. I like the idea of a Revitilizing Mist so after trying a little spritz in-store, I picked one up at John Lewis. It's a pre-styling treatment that has some lovely ingredients like lemongrass and Ginseng which all help to revitalise and rehydrate the hair. It also help with taming frizz and detangling knots. I do really like this product, although I'm not sure I'd repurchase it as I don't think it's as good as it's price tag implies.
Casetagram
Casetagram allows you to pick from your Instagram photos and create your own bespoke iPhone case. You can choose from a few different designs such as 'the cheese' which is circles with photos in, you can have one big photo and you can have a grid effect like my one. You log into your Instagram account on the website and it brings up all your photos at the bottom of the page. It's really easy to do, you just drag the photos you want onto the phone... the hard bit is picking the ones you want! There are some slight technical difficulties which meant I couldn't quite see the photos at the bottom of the case properly, hence the two donuts instead of a photo of my nephew that was supposed to be in it's place.
