OUR EXCLUSIVE BEAUTY BAG! | AD
I'm so excited to be kicking off this year's Christmas content with this exciting L'Occitane collaboration. Since visiting Provence with the brand earlier in the year, Anna and I have been working closely with L'Occitane to bring you guys something quite special; the first installment this month and then we're also going to be doing something really exciting early next year, but you'll have to wait to find out about that - oohsuch a tease. But for now I get to show you our very own exclusive beauty bag; a collection of our joint favourite products from L'Occitane.
CHANEL: PICK YOUR RED LIP
Chanel has always smashed it out of the park when it comes to their Christmas collections, but there was one thing about the Collection Libre 'Numeros Rouges' this year that really stood out to me. Ever since Lucia Pica came on board as Global Creative Designer, the Chanel collections seem to have real purpose as well as just being gorgeous. This year I am totally in love with her red lip edit, a collection of four red lipsticks to chose from depending on your preference. Genius! Everyone loves a red lip at this time of year and now Chanel have made it easier than ever to pick out your perfect shade.
A GUIDE TO GLOSSIER
If you haven't heard of Glossier, seriously where have you been? Emily Weiss, the founder & CEO of beauty editorial site Into The Gloss started Glossier as the effortlessly cool beauty brand for the girl who likes to keep things simple. Glossier found a niche a ran with it and after visiting the New York show room a few times I now know what all the fuss is about.
URBAN DECAY NAKED HEAT PALETTE
Oh, I do love a good beauty hype, it's so nostalgic to me, and the best hypes come in the form of an Urban Decay palette! I was in my first year of blogging when the original palette launched so it feels almost like a tradition to me to jump on the bandwagon.
THE SKINCARE LINE THAT DUPES THEM ALL
As always I am very late to the party, but when it comes to skincare I quite like to take a step back and wait for the reviews to roll in before I give it a go myself (also Fleur totally forced me to try this). The Ordinary is the latest launch from Deciem, a skincare brand I already know and trust. If you want to know more about Deciem and their umbrella of amazing brands, you can check them out here. But today, let's talk about The (not so) Ordinary.
MY SKIN ANALYSIS & NEW ROUTINE
I didn't really know what to expect when going to see Dr Stefanie Williams at the Eudelo clinic, I was invited in to have a complimentary appointment and I jumped at the opportunity! I've never had my skin looked at in this way before and I found it fascinating to learn more about it. Let me tell you a little bit about how the appointment went...
NOURISHING NAILS | AD
I'm actually pretty impressed with myself as over the past couple of years I've massivley scaled back my nail polish collection. Once upon a time it filled an entire shoe organiser that hung on the back of my office door but now I have a respectable drawer filled with my top lacquer loves; saying that I am still always tempted by a new range.
THE BEAUTY REVOLUTION | AD
January is the month for change and if you've been stuck in a rut whether it's fashion, beauty or fitness, now is the time to do something about it. To help inspire and give us some encouragement lookfantastic have created "The Beauty Revolution", sharing tips and advice throughout the month for giving your makeup bag a makeover or refreshing your skincare stash. Lookfantastic is the original British online beauty boutique and with a huge selection of products, great customer service and free UK shipping it's a website I find myself regularly recommending.
FLAKY/ITCHY SCALP SHAMPOO
A flaky itchy scalp, for some reason, is one of those embarrassing body things that people hate to talk about. This is why I love Philip Kingsley even more for just slapping it on the front of the bottle and getting straight to the point. It happens, especially to those of us with dry skin and especially in the winter. Your scalp gets dry, therefore starts to get itchy and then the flaking starts... oh, the flaking.
