We’re in the middle of researching going on a safari next summer to celebrate turning 30 and it’s exhausting looking through websites and trip advisor. If you don’t mind me asking who did you boom through? We’re currently in talks with Trailfinders but I’m put off with some of their suggestions and sometimes get the feeling they just want a ‘sale’ and not specifically giving us what we want. We are thinking about going to Zanibar too after the safari to have our chill time. Thanks x

I would recommend the Longchamp Le pliage nylon XL Travel bag. Light and you can fold it up when you don’t need it on the rest of the trip.

Can I ask what you used for luggage? We are leaving in 2 weeks but as we have a light aircraft internal flight we aren’t able to take a case or anything with wheels.

I live in South Africa, in Pretoria. We really enjoy going to the Pilanesberg National Park, which is about 1.5 hours drive away. We drive in our own car & always see many animals. The last time we were there we even saw lion & had elephants come investigate our car! I’m sorry you had to rush out to buy neutral t-shirts in vain! ? As you said, there is no need for special gear when in a car. It sounds like you had a wonderful honeymoon.
