Shirt Zara £25.99, Shirt Primark £10, Shirt Primark £10, Shoes Topshop £30

If you follow me on Instagram (@lilypebbles) you would have seen most of these items last week. I’ve recently become obsessed with collar tips and lucky for me there seem to be a lot around at the moment!

I picked up the Zara shirt when I was in Birmingham last week and really like it. Apparently you can get these kind of collar tips on ebay to accessorise your shirts – I haven’t look into it yet. I love the mint green colour of this one and the longer length at the back. The second shirt is from Primark and is a great one for wearing underneath sweaters because the collar is really sturdy and sits well. The third shirt, again from Primark is something a bit different and although the shirt itself doesn’t fit me well, this collar will easily bring some life to a dull outfit.

The sun came out on the weekend and I suddenly realised all I had was black boots! Whilst we were in town I popped into Selfridges and tried on as many Summer shoes as I could. I really wanted Toms but my stupid half sized feet wouldn’t allow me. I ended up buying these scalloped edge loafers from Topshop. I really like them and so far they are comfortable!

What do you think of my new purchases?

Dreaming of the beach https://www.lilypebbles.co.uk/2011/06/dreaming-of-the-beach.html https://www.lilypebbles.co.uk/2011/06/dreaming-of-the-beach.html#disqus_thread Tue, 21 Jun 2011 20:38:00 +0000 http://www.lilypebbles.co.uk/dreaming-of-the-beach/

I am not sure why I bought these shorts… it is definitely not warm enough to wear them, but I LOVE them! These Topshop shorts are the best fitting shorts I have ever bought and are by far the most comfortable as they are slightly high waisted. I love the cotton detail at the bottom! This is also the mens t-shirt that I bought from Primark and cut into a vest top. I think it worked really well and I’m really happy with it! I think this might be my new way of buying vest tops 🙂

I am really enjoying working at GlossyBox.  If you haven’t subscribed to it yet, you really should. I have and I can’t wait for my box to arrive this week! Yay!

I have been on Twitter quite a lot recently, if you are on there you can follow me HERE.

What I Wore Today https://www.lilypebbles.co.uk/2011/04/what-i-wore-today.html https://www.lilypebbles.co.uk/2011/04/what-i-wore-today.html#disqus_thread Wed, 27 Apr 2011 18:13:00 +0000 http://www.lilypebbles.co.uk/what-i-wore-today/

The temperature has definitely dropped in London, but I am not prepared to give up spring pastel colours yet. I love combining mint pastel green with nude pink, I did it here with my nails! This floaty top from Topshop (years ago) is a perfect spring top. The vest top is from H&M – I love their vest tops! I also wore my new Aldo shoes which I will show you in another post.

Now, dare I say it, I think I may be a little bit excited for the Royal Wedding on Friday. The publicity around it has driven me crazy and I have been looking forward to the day when I don’t have to hear about a bloody Royal Wedding…. but now it is nearly here, I am kind of looking forward to it.

Will you guys be watching it? Is anyone actually having a street party??

I bought this tunic/dress a few weeks ago. It’s one of those Topshop items that EVERYONE has. I keep seeing people walk past me on the street wearing it, which is so annoying! But that’s highstreet shops for you…

I think it’s a sweet top and it is very comfortable to wear. I don’t love the fact it has no sleeves, but I tend to wear it with a cardigan anyway!

What do you guys think?

I can’t wait for it to get lighter in the evenings again, it is such a pain not being able to take photos when I get home from work.

L for Lilac https://www.lilypebbles.co.uk/2011/01/l-for-lilac.html https://www.lilypebbles.co.uk/2011/01/l-for-lilac.html#disqus_thread Wed, 05 Jan 2011 22:58:00 +0000 http://www.lilypebbles.co.uk/l-for-lilac/

Sorry if this may be a boring post, but I just wanted to show you a cardigan I bought a while ago at the beginning of the knit season. I wanted a knitted cardigan and had seen some nice ones around, like a white chunky cardigan from New Look that had big brown buttons. But they either didn’t look right, or were really itchy. I came across this one in Topshop and thought it was really nice. I don’t think I have anything in my wardrobe that is purple, so this little lilac number looks nice and fresh amongst my blacks and greys.
I am having 3 wisdom teeth out on Friday and having a general anesthetic so I am a bit scared about that and sad that I won’t be able to eat for a while… but hopefully I’ll do something nice tomorrow before it, and at the moment I am watching the new Grey’s Anatomy, so I’m happy!
Here are some more photos…
Thanks for reading. And HI to all my new readers!!

Diamond Knit https://www.lilypebbles.co.uk/2010/12/diamond-knit.html https://www.lilypebbles.co.uk/2010/12/diamond-knit.html#disqus_thread Thu, 30 Dec 2010 12:19:00 +0000 http://www.lilypebbles.co.uk/diamond-knit/

Normally I completely avoid the shops between Christmas and New Year, due to the horrendous crowds of mental, sale obsessed people. This year I fancied checking out the Topshop sale, and I personally think the only really good Topshop is the one in Oxford Circus. As it was a bank holiday on Tuesday, we drove up and parked for free right outside, amazing!
I hate sales, so I didn’t run around the store picking everything up in sight. I just browsed around the Knit section, as they are normally the over-priced products that I wouldn’t normally want to spend £50 on. Luckily I came across this jumper, which I had previously seen for £45, there was only one and it was in my size for £20. Yes! Grabbed it, paid for it, done. No more sales thanks, that’s me done.
I love the diamond shapes and it is a really soft knit.
