GLOSSYBOX Think Pink Exclusive Edition £20*

GLOSSYBOX has just launched a brand new concept to compliment their existing monthly box and their occasional ‘Flash Boxes’. It’s called the Exclusive Edition and the idea of it is to delve into a beauty topic/problem even more and offer up the 5 products they recommend to help. Unlike the normal GLOSSYBOX, this one isn’t a surprise and you can see what’s in the box before you order it. It’s only available to active subscribers, so it will be an extra box for that person that month.

This Exclusive Edition box is themed ‘Think Pink’ and it’s not about anti-ageing but rather about encouraging ageing beautifully. Make the most of what you’ve been given and use the right products to suit you.

The five products in this box are Morrocan Oil Treatment, Mama Mio Clean Slate cleanser, Kosmea Youth Boost, REN Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask and Ole Kenriksen truth serum. As you’ve probably noticed, the products are a lot more high end than they usually are in the standard GLOSSYBOX. This is probably because they are going to a more specific group of people who have opted for these kind of products. The box itself is more expensive than the normal one priced at £20 and again this is because of the higher end products and extras in the box.

Talking about extras, this box also comes with a magazine. The magazine, written by Pia the creative director of GLOSSYBOX, goes through each product in the box in detail guiding you on the application process. It also offers interesting topical articles as well as some well-being tips from a celebrity nutritionist. The magazine definitely adds to the box and guides you through the whole GLOSSYBOX experience, making it a much more pleasant one.

Overall, I’m impressed. I’m looking forward to trying the products and 3 out of 5 of them I’ve never tried before which is exciting!

If you are a GLOSSYBOX subscriber and you want to order the box, you can do so through the email that was sent to you last week. Alternatively you can go straight to this page to order. If you are not a subscriber and you would like this box, you can subscribe now to GLOSSYBOX and then order the box once you are a subscriber.

So what do you think about this new concept for GLOSSYBOX? Will you be ordering an Exclusive Edition when the theme fits you?

Lily xx

Disclaimer: I do not work for GLOSSYBOX. I am however a GLOSSYBOX Ambassador which means I get sent the boxes early to try the products out.  My opinions in this post are 100% honest as always.

No Name https://www.lilypebbles.co.uk/2011/07/no-name.html https://www.lilypebbles.co.uk/2011/07/no-name.html#disqus_thread Fri, 01 Jul 2011 19:00:00 +0000 http://www.lilypebbles.co.uk/no-name/

I have found my perfect Summer work outfit. These t-shirts I got at Zara are the best shape; they are thin, have a low neck and look great with everything! I also got these high-waisted trousers which are really comfortable and flattering. They came with this brown belt and I usually don’t like the belts they come with, but this one is really nice!

Here is a full length photo of them… sorry about my messy room!
Any this is my new baby!!! I love her! 🙂
I met Lisa Eldridge today at Selfridges. She was on the Chanel counter doing people’s make-up and me and some of the GlossyBox girls went to say hi. She was so so nice! Really down-to-earth and she took loads of time out to speak to us. She kept telling us how gorgeous we were!! haha. We had a photo with her, it was pretty awful, but I posted it on the GlossyBox twitter page and re-tweeted it on mine.
I hope you all have a great weekend!!!

GlossyBox https://www.lilypebbles.co.uk/2011/06/glossybox.html https://www.lilypebbles.co.uk/2011/06/glossybox.html#disqus_thread Sun, 26 Jun 2011 16:57:00 +0000 http://www.lilypebbles.co.uk/glossybox/ This post is mainly for any of my friends and family who may read my blog and want to know what this GlossyBox thing I am always talking about is. I’m sure most of you regular readers will already know as it has been written about all over the blog world.
GlossyBox is a monthly subscription, where every month you receive a beautiful box filled with 5 (surprise) high-end, luxury miniature beauty products. So by miniature products, I mean, basically small bottles and small tubs etc. Unlike other similar concepts who send out sachet samples, GlossyBox always send out decent size and sometimes even full size products. The point of GlossyBox is for women to be able to try out products in their own time and in their own home, without an annoying lady at a beauty stand pressuring you to buy something expensive. GlossyBox aims to get new, niche and not as well known brands, so that people can try new things they may not necessarily normally go for. There are occasionally well known brands as well, such as NARS and O.P.I.
I just think it is such a brilliant concept, and for £12.95 it is so worth it! It is not about getting a bargain, it is about opening your mind to other brands, and being able to really try a product well before purchasing it in full size. It’s amazing… I love it.
Here are some photos of my June GlossyBox.
The effort that goes into these boxes is phenomenal. The BioEffect serum is incredible and the full size product (which is only 15ml) retails for £125! I can’t wait to try this out. The mini O.P.I nail polish is very cute, and I get bored of nail polishes so quickly, this size is actually perfect for me. The little Perles de Lalique perfume is so sweet, although, since it’s my Mum’s favourite perfume I have a feeling she might steal it from me. I was lucky to get a full size Margaret Dabbs exfoliating foot mousse in mine. It is massive and I noticed that it is made with Emu Oil, which is seriously good!! There have been people complaining about the Batiste Dry Shampoo, but personally I like having it. It is a perfect handbag size, and just what I need in the Summer! Maybe not as high-end as people would like, but who needs a high-end dry shampoo when Batiste does a perfect job!
So anyway, enough with the rambling. I just think it is so great, and for me, just opening such a gorgeous box every month is worth it. It is still such a new company and I know the products are going to get better and better every month. I’m excited!
If you like the idea you can subscribe at www.glossybox.co.uk
I hope you all had a great day. It is SO sunny in London, it is amazing! Loving it!

Dreaming of the beach https://www.lilypebbles.co.uk/2011/06/dreaming-of-the-beach.html https://www.lilypebbles.co.uk/2011/06/dreaming-of-the-beach.html#disqus_thread Tue, 21 Jun 2011 20:38:00 +0000 http://www.lilypebbles.co.uk/dreaming-of-the-beach/

I am not sure why I bought these shorts… it is definitely not warm enough to wear them, but I LOVE them! These Topshop shorts are the best fitting shorts I have ever bought and are by far the most comfortable as they are slightly high waisted. I love the cotton detail at the bottom! This is also the mens t-shirt that I bought from Primark and cut into a vest top. I think it worked really well and I’m really happy with it! I think this might be my new way of buying vest tops 🙂

I am really enjoying working at GlossyBox.  If you haven’t subscribed to it yet, you really should. I have and I can’t wait for my box to arrive this week! Yay!

I have been on Twitter quite a lot recently, if you are on there you can follow me HERE.

Thanks for reading!

Sunday Post https://www.lilypebbles.co.uk/2011/06/sunday-post.html https://www.lilypebbles.co.uk/2011/06/sunday-post.html#disqus_thread Sun, 19 Jun 2011 15:38:00 +0000 http://www.lilypebbles.co.uk/sunday-post/

A lovely little free tube of Liz Earl’s Cleanse and Polish from The Sunday Times newspaper.
Bought some things in Primark the other day. I never find anything in there so I was really happy to find some stuff. I also bought a men’s t-shirt which I cut into a vest top, which I’ll show you soon.
I am about to go out for dinner to Bodean’s for my sister’s birthday. It is my favourite restaurant! I seriously recommend it.
I start my new job tomorrow at GlossyBox 🙂 Very excited!
Wish me luck!

Laduree London https://www.lilypebbles.co.uk/2011/06/laduree-london.html https://www.lilypebbles.co.uk/2011/06/laduree-london.html#disqus_thread Mon, 13 Jun 2011 17:37:00 +0000 http://www.lilypebbles.co.uk/laduree-london/

I have walked past Laduree in Covent Garden so many times, but finally this weekend I had some time to stop for a drink and a macaroon. I have always loved Laduree, it is so French and beautiful. I am very happy it has opened in London.

I had a fresh juice (as it was too hot for a tea) and a mini chocolate macaroon. It was delicious! I felt like I was in the heart of Paris…loved it!

I definitely recommend it for a lovely afternoon tea! I can’t wait to go back.

By the way…the exciting news is that next week I will start my new job at GlossyBox  I am so so happy!

🙂
