This sounds delicious (and exactly like some of your favorite meals you talk about in vlogs)!
Did you ask guests not to post on social media because of your online presence and wanting to keep the day to yourselves? I also think it helps from having your guests get distracted by updating their pages and allows them to be present in the moment.
