I also get that greasy roots which feels like product build up. Recently I bough Roots from Lush, it works amazing & doesn’t leave your hair feeling dry. Love it.

I always find that switching my hair routine up does my hair wonders. I have dry and damaged hair, so my hair naturally doesn’t get greasy quickly. I use the VO5 hair oil when blow drying and that makes my hair soft and silky for ages x

Cut your tips at least every 6 weeks (I recommend once a month) , you don’t have to cut 1 inch or anything extreme just a lil bit and that will get rid of your dry ends and will help your hair to grow. Stay away as much as you can from hot tools and apply olive oil ( I use the hollywood beauty olive oil) with any hair mask that you prefer put a hair cap on and keep it for about 30min to 1hour (sometimes I live it longer if I’m to busy it won’t do any damaged) then shower like you usually do and you will feel the difference right away. I also recommend the Nexxus Pro-Mend Split end binding overnight treatment, it is really good! I hope this help you I used to have the same problem and my hair is now so much better.
