AUTUMN SKINCARE UPDATE

As you know I went to France and New York at the beginning of September and although my skin was fine up until then it was a downwards spiral from there on. Flying was a real issue in terms of dehydration and not having my usual skincare routine with me made my skin feel neglected and dull.

When I got back from my travels and London Fashion Week was coming to an end I made it my mission to sort out my skincare and add in some much needed products ready for the colder months.

OIL ME UP
The quickest and most efficient way for me to see an improvement in the hydration of my skin is by using oils. I picked up the Josie Maran 100% Pure Argan Oil Light when I was in Sephora. Despite being the light version it’s still quite a heavy oil but something I really enjoy using at night. The Pai Rosehip oil feels quite a bit lighter and is something you can press into the skin rather than rub in. The smell and colour are a bit funky but this oil works really well for both the mornings and the evenings. I’ve also been trying out the Blink nourishing brow oil because it’s something quite unique and I think brows should be looked after! I’ll keep you updated on whether it does anything for them.

INSTANTLY HYDRATE
I was in the market for a new eye cream, one that actually feels like it’s doing something and I’ve been really impressed by the Pai Echium & Argan eye cream. It’s really creamy, easy to pat into the skin and instantly hydrates the under eye area. I’ve also been using the Caudalie Grape Water as my morning and evening toner, it’s refreshing and makes the skin feel awake and hydrated.

Everything else has stayed the same and I have been using my most luxurious products to really get my skin back into good condition. It’s working and my skin is loving it!

Do you change anything up in Autumn to help your skin adjust?
