WHAT’S ON MY FACE #29

I wanted a light base for today’s makeup so I mixed together two tinted moisturisers to get the shade I needed. The NARS tinted moisturiser is slightly too light for me, both in texture and shade so I mixed it with my Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser in Bisque which is a bit thicker and darker. I used my Bobbi Brown corrector to cover my dark circles and then my By Terry Touche Veloutee to conceal and brighten everywhere else. I bronzed up using Benefit Hoola and added a flush of colour with the Kevyn Aucoin Creamy Glow in Tresbelle which is a slightly darker pink. For a subtle highlight I tried out a new product from Laura Mercier, their Radiance Baked Powder in Highlight 01. It’s incredibly soft and leaves the perfect golden shimmer, but more on that in another post!

I absolutely love the Jouer crème eyeshadow crayon in Baroque because it’s just so easy to use and leaves a gorgeous wash of bronze on the lid. If you’re a fan of cream eyeshadows but don’t love sticking your finger in a pot, this will be perfect for you! For my lashes I gave the new Bourjois Twist Up The Volume mascara a whirl. It’s a 2-in-1 mascara that when twisted can be either a long or a short brush. I found using it short first and then long is the best way and it gave me amazing lashes. Finally, on my lips is a lipstick I’ve been obsessed with recently, Rimmel’s Notting Hill Nude. It’s a slightly paler version of my natural lip colour and I think it looks really sophisticated and understated.

A simple, nude look for everyday wearing!
