WHAT’S ON MY FACE #19

I’ve had a lot of requests to do a tutorial on the makeup look I wore in my May favourites video, so luckily I’d already prepared a WOMF post on it.

I started by priming my skin using the Clarins Instant Smooth and then used a new favourite foundation, MAC’s Face & Body, using a buffing brush to work it into the skin. You can use the foundation to build up certain areas where you need more coverage and then I also used my daily concealer duo. I contoured my cheeks with the Kevyn Aucoin sculpting powder and then used the Jouer Peony blush on top which is so bright and pretty!

On my eyes I used MAC paint pot in ‘eclair’ all over the lid and then MAC ‘Teddy’ eyeliner along the top lash line, blending with a brush up onto the lid. I also took a bit of liner underneath the eye, making sure to blend it out well. On my lashes I tried YSL’s new babydoll mascara which gives amazing length and then a swipe of Blink’s clear brow gel through my unruly brows.
As a final touch I used MAC’s Syrup lipstick for a natural cool toned pink and then a light dusting of the Hourglass ‘Dim Light’ powder for a soft focus effect when filming.

I’m guessing from all your lovely comments on the video that you guys like this look, so I’ll be sure to wear it again soon. It was really easy to achieve and I like the natural effect it gives.
