THE MIX: MAC PATINA & SATIN TAUPE

I am a serious eyeshadow lover and probably wear a different eyeshadow every day of the week! For today’s mix post I wanted to show a combo I’ve been loving recently, MAC’s Patina and Satin Taupe.

Patina is one of my newer MAC eyeshadows that I got at the end of last year. It’s the perfect all over lid colour. It has a frost finish and is a light taupe with gold shimmer. It works perfectly with a bit of Satin Taupe blended in the outer corner. Satin Taupe is a shadow I’ve had for a long time as you can see from the huge empty pan in the middle. It’s a taupe with silver shimmer running through and I also think it also has a slight plum hint to it. The taupe undertone in both these shadows makes them work perfectly together and the deepness of Satin Taupe helps give depth the the lid and smoke it up a bit.

I just love this combo so I thought I’d post it in case you have these two shadows lying around and never thought to wear them together.

What do you think of this eyeshadow mix?
