I found the toner to be very stripping for my skin and including alcohol, which was eye wateringly strong, didn’t help either for my sensitive skin. But after using the products for about a month I had a facial and was advised strongly against these products due to them clogging my skin and giving me dry skin.

There was a lot of alcohol in the toner and the facial soap contains SLS (which I didn’t know back then). I had seriously “flakey skin issues” around my nose for 6 months! Also because my skin is actually really dry and I used the skin care system for normal/combination skin. I switched to the skin care for dry skin but it still contained SLS just a lesser amount. Aaah I’m done with Clinique! They have nice products, but I’m not using the 3-step-skin care system anymore 🙂
