INTRODUCING H&M BEAUTY

IMG_0394

H&M has always been up there with my favourite highstreet stores. Incredible prices and if you’re patient enough to browse (and head to the trend section) you can find some amazing quality stuff too. I’ve never been fussed by their beauty offering though, a few sticky looking lip glosses at the till… it all looked a bit cheap and childish really. So when I vaguely remember hearing something about H&M Beauty a few months ago I didn’t really take much notice, but Autumn has come and alongside it the launch of H&M’s new beauty range.

It’s a 700 piece collection that’ll have it’s own department within the larger H&M stores and it’s seriously, seriously impressive. Someone who knows their stuff is definitely behind this range because it’s not just about low prices, these products are great quality too. They haven’t just launched with some eyeshadow palettes and false eyelashes, there’s literally everything you could possibly need. The products are broken down into face, eyes, lips, nails, bath & body, fragrance, hair, tools & brushes, removers & cleanser and makeup bags. Within those categories are all different kinds of products such as foundations, BB creams, concealers, eyeshadow sticks, eyeshadow palettes, eyeshadow cream pots, mascaras, lipsticks, nail polish… the list goes on.

The prices seem to sit comfortably aside drugstore brands you’d find in Boots or Superdrug but the quality seems to sit alongside brands like Kiko. The stand out products that I’ve tried (and I’ve only tried a handful!) are the cream eyeshadow pots, the single eyeshadows, the lid primer, the bronzer and the lipstick. There are so many other products to try and I can’t wait tot go into store and haul my heart out!

Have you tried anything from H&M Beauty yet?

*UPDATE* I have been into the store since writing this and spent £50 on makeup. Whoops!
