WEAR LIFE EATS

I recently found this top at Zara and I absolutely love it. I needed something a bit smarter but comfortable at the same time. It’s loose fitting but because of the slight peplum shape it’s flattering too! I like that there’s a large, exposed zip at the back and the sleeves are slightly longer.

LIFE //
It’s coming up to Halloween and it got me thinking about Halloween as a kid. Most years were spent trick or treating, usually dressed in a black bin liner and covered in fake cobwebs. I remember my area being rubbish for treats and coming home with oranges and occasionally pound coins (on a good night!). Every year was pretty average, but one year when I was around 9 (the year of the photo above) I was invited to Ozzy Osbourne’s Halloween party!! My auntie was working for him at the time and she took me and my cousin with, although now thinking back that probably wasn’t the best idea given our age. Ozzy Osbourne is (was) scary enough at the best of times, but at Halloween? Terrifying. His London house was decorated top to toe and I remember seeing Kelly dressed up as an angel with huge white wings. My sister did my makeup and although most of the night is a distant, blurry memory, it’s one I’ll never forget!

You know when it gets to around four o’clock and you get that sweet craving? Well I’ve found something that works as the perfect substitute! I’ve loved the Tea Pigs Liquorice & Peppermint tea for ages now. I really, really hate liquorice though so don’t be put off by the name. It tastes like a fresh mint tea but the sweetness comes in right at the end and you can almost feel it on the sides of your tongue. It’s definitely my favourite non-English Breakfast type tea and I can’t get enough!
