INSIDE MY TRAVEL MAKEUP BAG

I didn’t really know what to expect from our last minute holiday to Greece, so although I knew it would be unlikely that I’d wear much makeup, I also didn’t want to feel disappointed if a nice makeup wearing occasion came up!

I managed to pack everything I wanted to take in my Trish McEvoy makeup planner and it was really compact and easy to pack. I love how the left hand compartment comes out and the middle section is magnetic so you can insert any products you like inside.

For base and concealer I took my favourites. The Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder foundation is lovely for a light, glowing base and her Retoucher concealer goes perfectly with it for the under eye area. I also packed my MUFE Full Cover Concealer as it’s waterproof so it’s perfect for hot climates. In a last minute panic I packed my NARS concealer but didn’t end up using it.

I managed to crack my Revlon bronzer out of it’s palette and take that along with me but for blush I knew I’d want to opt for cream in the warmer evenings. I took two cream blushers, the new Clinique Chubby Stick for Cheeks in Roly Poly Rosy and the Maxfactor Creamy Blush in Soft Pink. For a bit of highlight in the evenings I took the Kiko Radiant Touch highlighting stick.

On holiday I let my brows run free, so aside from some clear brow gel I didn’t take any other brow products with me. I seemed to have taken quite a few eye options with me though. Products I didn’t end up using included the Revlon liquid eyeliner, Urban Decay’s Hustle eyeliner and Charlotte Tilbury’s Elizabeth Violet eyeliner. For my eyes I either opted for powder using my MAC Patina or All That Glitters shadow or for cream I used my By Terry Ombre Blackstar in Brown Perfection or Misty Rock. Waterproof mascara is a holiday essential so I took my Maybelline The Rocket and it worked a treat!

I didn’t end up wearing any lip products at all on holiday although I took with me Chanel Conquise, MAC Pattiserie, Sephora Always Red Lip Cream and Tanya Burr’s Picnic in the Park.

I always find it hard to pack my holiday makeup, it’s like choosing which children to take away with you. I was happy with my choices though! Phew! #bloggerproblems
