CC CREAM FOR HAIR

Just when you thought the BB, CC, DD cream craze was dying down a CC cream for hair comes along. I spotted this on the Sephora website for $25 and knew I had to try it, so I popped it on my “please mum can you buy me” list and luckily she managed to get hold of one.

I’m already a fan of Alterna haircare, my hairdresser uses their Bamboo range on my hair and it’s great. This is the first CC cream for hair I’ve seen and they call it the 10-in-1 Complete Correction.

It’s a leave in cream that claims to help you hair in ten ways which is a pretty bold claim! The 10 ways are: moisture, shine, smoothness, softness, UV protection, manageability, strength, anti-breakage, heat protection and light hold.

I’ve been using this for a couple of week now so I’m ready to give my verdict. My first point would be to forget about the name, it’s called a CC cream purely for marketing purposes. Other than that, I’m really impressed with it. You can use it on damp hair as a heat protector before drying and when doing this it really does tick all 10 claim boxes. It helps with breakage, making it more manageable and I can also really notice a difference with the smoothness and softness of my hair. You can also use it on dry hair as a smoothing cream and because it’s not a heavy texture, using a small amount won’t make your hair feel weighed down or greasy.

I have been loving using this and it’s slipped into my hair care routine perfectly! A do it all CC cream for hair? What will be next?!
