WHAT’S ON MY FACE #27

My skin is obviously going through a dry spell because lately I have been craving some added dewiness and luminosity in my makeup. To achieve this look I rekindled my love with a few old flames… Clarins’ Instant Light Complexion Perfector for a glowy base, Origins’ Plantscription foundation for a dewy finish and Jemma Kidd’s Dewy Glow for a creamy highlight that never seems to fail.

For concealer I used something new in my collection, the By Terry Touche Veloutee. The YSL-style click pen releases what feels like a sheer, brightening concealer formula but once blended in gives a nice medium coverage. It covers up blemishes well as well as concealing and brightening the under eye area. I also tried a Kiko Glow Touch which can be used on both the cheeks and lips, but I found it works lovely as a blush leaving a perfect flush of colour.

For my eyes I kept it quite simple, using a MAC paint pot in ‘Eclair’ over the lid and then a swipe of Smashbox’s Eye Brightening mascara. Eclair is just the most beautiful bronze, although I find it does crease on me if I put too much on and the Smashbox mascara gave me quite natural, fluttery lashes.

I’ve also been getting back into my Rimmel Apocalips because they are just so long lasting and I love the colour Stellar for a bright lip.

What do you think of this week’s look?
