A BIT OF BLUE
Back in my teenage years I was quite into the blue eyeliner look, but it’s something I haven’t revisited for years. I’ve noticed a lot of brands bringing out blue eyeliner recently so I thought I’d give it another go and see how I get on.
I think it’s a nice way of adding a bit of colour without doing anything too crazy. Blue eyeshadow is incredibly hard to pull off, so blue eyeliner is an easier alternative. In the photo above I’m wearing Lord & Berry Aqua which is a gorgeous light turquoise with slight shimmer in it. The Make Up For Ever liner also has a slight shimmer but is a darker teal blue compared to Lord & Berry. The By Terry Royal Navy liner is completely matte and really easy to apply with the lightest touch. I love the shade of the Urban Decay liner but as with a lot of Urban Decay products it is quite glittery, so this would probably work better on the upper lash line rather than underneath.
When you put on blue eyeliner you feel like everyone is going to stare at you and think you’re mad but I wore this look out all day and didn’t get any strange looks or comments! It’s something a bit fun and different for Summer, would you try it?
