CONTOURING BLUSH

It’s easy to gravitate towards peachy blushers when trying to go for a natural look, but actually I have found these brown muted blushers work the best for a sculpted, yet natural every day look.

These are my two favourites and they have become staples in my makeup collection. The Tarte blusher was a purchase I made in America and I’m dying for these to come to the UK. It is extremely pigmented, you literally only need to touch your brush onto it and it blends like a dream. ‘Exposed’ (worn above) is a light pinky brown that has quite a lot of warmth in it. NARS ‘Douceur’ was one of the first NARS purchases I made and although it’s not as pigmented as the Tarte one it’s nice because it allows you to build up the colour as you wish whilst keeping the overall look natural. It’s also sheer enough to use as a contour which I often like to do.

So next time you’re looking for a natural blush, try the funny light brown looking ones – some of them are pretty damn good!

Do you use any blushers like these?
