Today I went for a bit of a green smokey eye, which is a look I used to be obsessed with at Uni. Burberry ‘Khaki’ is a very dirty green that’s not bright at all, it’s actually verging on brown. After using this all over the lid, I added a tiny bit of ‘Club’ to the crease and underneath the eye. This is one of my all-time favourite MAC eyeshadows, its green but when you blend it out it turns a really nice, warm brown. I love layering Club on all over the lid for a night out.
To warm up my face I contoured using both the Jouer Hydrating Bronzer and my Tarte ‘Exposed’ blusher that I bought in America. I didn’t want to use a pink or peach blush as I think it would have clashed with the green eyes. I did use a highlighter though and I’m never disapointed with the the Jemma Kidd Dewy Glow in Rose Gold. Usually when I have a strong green eye I’d keep everything else very subtle, but I fancied trying it with a plum lip and I actually loved the result. MAC’s ‘Plumful‘ is my new favourite lipstick and I’ve been wearing it daily.
On my nails I used Deborah Lippmann’s ‘Just Walk Away Renée’ with Leighton Denny ‘Maneater’ and Topshop ‘Moonshine’.
An easy, warm, wintery makeup look.
