Top: Romwe*
Disco Pants: American Apparel
Shoes: Topshop
Nails: Nails INC 'Notting Hill Gate'*
Lips: Kate Moss for Rimmel in '02'

I finally plucked up the courage to wear my disco pants with my top tucked in. I wore this outfit on Saturday night with my Zara jacket and my Topshop ambush boots. You can see the full outfit at the bottom of this post. I absolutely love this top, it's really comfy and so 80s!

The sun has finally made an appearance and the panic has set in. So I am starting to use a gradual tan in preparation for the Summer. I am using Garnier on my body and am hoping to pick up a Clarins tanner for my face. I am beginning to look a bit translucent! What gradual tanning products do you recommend?

  1. I also use the Garnier tanning moisturiser, I like it because its gradual so I don't end up looking bright orange. I love your disco pants, if only I had legs like you then I'd wear them too!

  4. Garnier all the way, it smells delicious and not tanny. I use the Johnsons on my face but its nearly out so I'm on the hunt for a new one. The shirt is so 80's love it! x

  9. Lovely outfit. I like the garnier self tanner too but I've tried numerous ones, Johnsons, Palmers cocoa butter one and a dove one. I really like the Palmers cocoa butter one and the garnier one best x

  15. I'm sorry but here you've illustrated these disco pants should be worn as leggings and look horrendous as trousers.

  16. I recommend the Clarins tan for the face! It works slow, but it gives such a nice color (not orange-ish at all!) and it smells so nice :)

  17. The shirt is great, but the trousers look so strange - although you obviously have a great figure and can pull them off, they make you look as if you don't have hips or waist, not feminine at all. I think they should be worn with tops out...

  23. If anyone demonstrates that disco pants can be worn as trousers then it's you. They look so good, I'm jealous!!

  25. I use Dove gradual tan- it's just under a fiver, smells delish and I notice the difference on my skin immediately (I'm naturally not too pale).

With regards to your outfit- I think you look great! Simple but stylish. I think that the disco pants are down to personal taste...some like em, some don't but I personally think they look good on you Lily :)

  29. I always wear my disco pants as trousers and don't think they look "horrendous" on me or you! That's the way they're meant to be worn, the clue is in the name 'pants', not leggings!
