I’ve gradually built up quite a big collection of Topshop makeup so I feel like I have quite a good overview of the products. The prices are sort of low to mid range with the average price of a product around £8.

In general I have been really impressed by the quality of the products, with a few exceptions. I’ll start with the lip products; the lip stick and lip markers. I did buy an actual lipstick but it was the wrong shade and I ended up giving it away. I really like the lip sticks (stick form) and would compare them to the NARS lip pencils. They are matte, soft and have great colour payoff. I’m not a massive fan of the lip markers; although it does make it easy to line the lips, I find it is quite drying.

I’ve also tried a couple of eye products. The eye crayon was really pigmented and glided on like a dream. For only £7.50 I think they’re really great. The eye liner is pretty similar to most felt tip liners and applies really well. I don’t think this one lasts as well as some others I’ve tried, but if you’re not wearing it for a long length of time then it’ll be fine and it’s really black which is great. The mascara is good if you like quite natural lashes. It doesn’t give much volume, but it does define the lashes and would be a good everyday ‘work’ mascara.

I’m a big fan of the nail polishes as you have probably been able to tell by now! My favourite colour at the moment is ‘Pool Party’. The brushes in the polish are quite short which is good if you want to be precise, but can also make it a little more time consuming. They have a big range of colours and often bring out new ones.

So those are my thoughts… what do you think about Topshop makeup? Are you a fan?

Oh, also, I uploaded a video yesterday with my best friend Keisha… what do you think?
